Weir Quay boatyard is encouraging anyone and everyone to join them to swim off all that festive food with a Christmas dip in the River Tamar at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 28.
High tide on the day is at 12 noon and the swim is timed to coincide with that.
People are asked to be on time to join the fun in the water. There will be a safety boat out on the river, so no danger of being swept away to Plymouth.
The boatyard will be serving pigs in blanket baps, hot chocolate and cakes for all the swimmers and supporters. Showers will also be available to use afterwards.
