FOR anyone who is going to be alone on Christmas Day and would like some company, there is still time to reserve a place for a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings at Tavistock United Reformed Church in Russell Street.

The Christmas Day lunch, followed by Christmas pudding, is open to anyone — but organisers need to know in advance who is intending to join them.

The day's event starts at 11.30am following the 10am Christmas morning service, to which all are welcome, and after some entertainment, ends at 3.45pm.

Anyone who would like to attend can complete the form in December's West Devon Diary or phone 01822 614613 with your name, address, phone number and whether you require transport. Organisers need to know final numbers by December 23. The lunch is free due to the generosity of charities, businesses and individuals in Tavistock who donate money and/or food for the event.
