A FIRE crew from Tavistock attended a report of a chimney fire at a property in Chollacott Close, Tavistock on Sunday evening.

Crews confirmed a fire within a chimney from a wood burner. The fire was extinguished using chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
