ONE fire fighting alliance from Yelverton attended reports of a chimney fire at Sampford Spiney this morning (January 21), at around 8.45am.

Upon arrival, crews found a chimney fire involving a wood burner. Crews used chimney gear, small tools, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
