THE Cabin childcare centre at Bere Alston this week announced the opening of new purpose built premises for the enjoyment of children in the area.
The Bere Alston regeneration project has been successful in its task of building new premises for the community, including new parish council offices and community rooms.
The new childcare facility is within this modern extension.
Karen Sweet and Sue Kowalska, who operate The Cabin childcare centre, have a wealth of experience and have been providing children's services for a combined total of 38 years.
Karen said: 'The staff, children and families are delighted to have moved into the new building; it is a warm and comfortable space which offers a play and learning environment within a homely atmosphere'.
Karen and Sue also manage two other centres in Plymouth and work closely with the staff in each setting to ensure quality child care is the priority.
The new centre can offer children excellent educational care in a fun environment, with practitioners committed to providing a quality learning experience.
Free childcare is available for eligible three to four year olds for fifteen hours per week. Childcare can be accessed Monday to Friday for children aged two to four years.
