Tavistock U9s 30 Exeter Chiefs U9s 5 TAVISTOCK played good attacking rugby on their visit to the Chiefs. Tavistock scored early with Daniel Dobie driving over for the first of two tries. With brother Matthew prompting from scrum half the Tavistock backs ran strongly with Dominic Hosking and William Slater difficult to tackle and the wings Adam Williams and Josh Towl keen to get on the ball. As the match progressed and Tavistock interchanged players, Kris Chapman and Bradley Hosking had good runs before Charlie Charlton added two tries with direct running. Jed Harris made an encouraging debut and James Perring ran with the ball confidently. Tom Jackman skipped over the line for a try. Player of the match: Zak Brinkhurst.
