North/Okes U12s 7

WITH Exeter unbeaten in two years, this was always going to be a hard game. Exeter inflicted the North/Okes? only loss this season earlier in the year. The visitors were hoping to avenge that defeat, but it was not to be.

Exeter scored two tries in the first half, despite hard fought defence from North/Okes.

The second half was a more even affair, with the visitors raising their game. Were it not for a couple of missed tackles and a wicked bounce of the ball the score may have been much closer.

Chris Penna scored the North/Okes? deserved try following some quicker rucking from the forwards.

Much credit can be taken by the North/Okes for the committed way they stuck to the task, and made this an enjoyable game to watch.

No training Friday. Sunday meet at clubs 9.45am to play a touring side at Launceston.
