A WONDERFUL £503 has been raised for charity by a sponsored fishing competition organised by the Okehampton Coarse Fishing Club.
The cheque was handed over to Peter Harborne, treasurer of Macmillan Nurses, at the club?s recent annual meeting.
Since 1992, the fishing club has raised a total of £6,131 for Macmillan Nurses and hopes to continue to help this charity for many years to come.
