AN award-winning shop in Tavistock is in the running for yet another accolade, following publication of nominations for a new national title.
Country Cheeses, based in Tavistock Pannier Market, has been nominated for the BBC Good Food magazine?s Reader Award for Best Independent Food Shop.
Gary and Elise Jungheim ? who have run their shop in Tavistock for 14 years ? said the new nomination was a ?fantastic accolade?.
They said they, and their team of staff, were ?totally chuffed? and very grateful that their customers should feel they were worthy of such an award.
They now await the judges visit.
The team will be looking for plenty of local and regional food, sold in peak condition in appealing premises, plus informative, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
