IT seems Shebbear College Junior School may have a chess prodigy on its hands, as one pupil took on 12 opponents at a time at a recent tournament.
Theo Slade, aged ten, took on 12 opponents at a time, made up of parents and members of staff, during a recent chess club event in the school's new assembly hall.
