A TAVISTOCK man recently took part in a sponsored skydive in aid of the RNLI.

Tim Coombs was strapped to an experienced diver as he jumped 20,000 feet at Dunkeswell Airfield, falling several thousand feet before opening his parachute.

He raised £250 plus additional gift aid for the charity. In addition to the skydive, over the last year staff and customers at the Tavistock Inn have raised £800 for the RNLI, who are very grateful for this excellent contribution.

Tim has expressed thanks to all the customers of the Tavistock Inn who sponsored his skydive.
