SOME 27 riders helped raise around £275 for the Lamerton Hunt last Sunday during a popular charity horse ride.
Riders (pictured right) left Mount Pleasant, Lifton, and journeyed past Graystone Bridge, through the centre of Launceston and into Werrington Countryman's Fair — coming back a different route to the starting point in Lifton.
Mike Bickell, organiser of the ride, said: 'The day was enjoyed by all and I am very thankful to those who provided us with the three to four pitstops along the way, and to the landowners whose land we travelled over on the day.
'We are also very grateful to the chairman of Lamerton Hunt James Crouch and his family for all their help on the day.'
Rosettes were presented to all riders at the finish by Simon Kerslake of Town and Country Supplies, Exeter.
Mr Bickell is currently getting ready for his next charity event being held from August 14 to August 19 in aid of the Injured Jockey Fund and Bob Champion's Cancer Trust. It will see riders travelling 150 miles from Chris Down's Racing Yard, Cullompton, to Fontwell Park Racecourse.
Anyone who would like to join in on any of the days from August 14 to August 19 can contact Mr Bickell on 01566 783305 or 07831494676.
