LEWDOWN fundraiser Michael Bickell will embark on his latest charity horse ride from Launceston Castle to Lulworth Castle in Dorset from August 8-12. Michael is raising funds for the leukaemia fund in Plymouth?s Derriford and Exeter?s Wonford Hospital. He will pass through Lifton, Lewdown and Okehampton en route to Whiddon Down on August 8 and will be accompanied by members of the Lamerton Hunt where he is chairman. A prolific fundraiser, Michael has completed many charity horse rides ? last year Operation Sunshine and Riding for the Disabled shared more than £4,000 after his 43-mile ride along the Ridgeway National Trail.
