THE hard work of sixth form students at Okehampton College and the support of local businesses has raised £1,000 for charity.

Students presented an evening extravaganza at the end of April to show off a diverse range of creative talents including drama, dance and music. Year 11 students also got to show off their culinary skills as they catered for the event. The money raised from the event, which included a prize draw, has raised £1,000 to be split between Coppafeel UK, Help for Heroes, Cancer Research UK and the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The team behind the event expressed thanks to all the businesses in Okehampton who donated draw prizes, and everyone who supported the event.
