SIX-year-old Chantelle Cross from Okehampton has shown she has bags of talent by being chosen as a finalist in a national children?s art competition.
Chantelle has been entered for the final after being named as a regional winner in the competition sponsored by Ribena with local store group Londis.
Children aged eleven and under, sent in pictures of their ?best friend?. The judges were delighted with Chantelle?s winning entry, a vibrant felt pen drawing of her best friend at the seaside.
If she wins the main prize, a family trip to Lapland to see Father Christmas, Chantelle will also have the honour of her drawing being reproduced on 29 million Londis carrier bags and on the side of Londis delivery lorries.
