Penzance 0 Columbines 0 OKEHAMPTON had by far the greater possession, but could not convert their chances into goals. Sandra Douglas and Carol Taylor provided strong defensive cover on the left and the team looked organised in defence. Claire Smith was a forceful presence in goal and competently dealt with the few shots on goal when Penzance did break through. Netty Collett worked busily in the middle and Alex Collins, linked well with the forwards, constantly pushing up the attack. Jo Stephens? pace down the right wing paid dividends and Penzance could not keep with her. But Okehampton wasted goal scoring opportunities and this would have assumed greater significance when Penzance had a late flurry in the final few minutes. This week Okehampton travel to Plymouth in the League.
