THE four-times British number one and European Champion table tennis player Matthew Syed will be visiting Okehampton next month, to take part in exhibition matches and provide coaching for budding youngsters.
There will be also be a chance to play him and his brother Andrew, who are both first class coaches.
Club chairman Fred Phillips said Matthew had said the Okehampton Club was one of the best venues in the country.
Mr Phillips said Matthew and his brother are expected to arrive at the Riverside Club at 12pm and stay until 6pm, on Sunday, September 7.
