OKEHAMPTON Squash Club first team have found themselves in a promotion race.

Despite the injuries this season they thought promotion hopes had eluded them, but having won the last six matches in a row they now have the chance to go up.

Club coach Martin Leyton said at the beginning of the season that the goal was to be promoted due to the strength in the squad, but with injuries over the season the club felt this would not happen.

But with one game left Okehampton still have that chance and a crucial match will be when they play host to the side second in the table. Okehampton have to beat them by as many points as possible - they have already defeated them away and in the cup so have a good record against them.
