A RECORD 189 children from 28 schools entered this year's Devon Schools' individual table tennis championships. The competition was held in two venues in Plymouth and it proved to be a successful championship. Okehampton Primary School entered some of their players, but only George Haskell managed an equal third place for the boys under 11s. This is a good result for the school as it is only their second time of entering a schools' competition. Mike Hugh, who coaches the children from the primary school down at Okehampton's table tennis club, was pleased with the way they all played and the results. If you would like your child to come and learn table tennis or just have a go call Mike on 07922 001656.
