THE dedication of the Tavistock branch of WRVS, which has run the tea bar at Tavistock Hospital for 12 years, was recognised at a special presentation recently.
The volunteers were given certificates for their commitment to the community, after they presented locality manager Philippa Bridle with a £700 in clearance of their tea bar accounts.
The service will continue to be run by organiser Sheila Royle and her team of volunteers, but under the umbrella of the hospital?s league of friends.
