THE High Moorland Visitor Centre at Princetown will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day but will re-open between December 27 and January 1. The Princetown visitor centre will be the only Dartmoor National Park Authority visitor centre to remain open from January 2 until April 4. It has a wide variety of gifts on offer, some at special reductions and with special offers, leading up to Christmas, including a buy one, get one free offer on the Moor Memories CDs. Batteries can be recharged after the festive season by joining in the authority's guided walks, including a Boxing Day walk to the East Dart Falls.
