OKEHAMPTON ladies' football team had their work cut out against a younger, fitter side. Most of the action took place in the ladies' own half, providing few goalscoring opportunities.
The defence were subjected to attack after attack from the home side but received good support from goalkeeper Kerry Drew playing her first full game in this position.
Exeter Central scored their two goals in the first 45 minutes and Okehampton held up well under pressure to prevent them getting more in the second half.
