OKEHAMPTON Town Council has been granted planning permission to extend the town?s cemetery. The change of use from agricultural land to burial ground at Church Lane, Stoney Park, was approved by West Devon planners this week. Next to the existing burial ground at All Saints Church, the 0.17 hectare strip of land could be accessed from the existing car park, planners were told.
