IT was party time at Rainbow Pre School in Okehampton as staff, children and guests celebrated its 25th anniversary. Rainbow, which is situated in the Baptist Church Hall in the town centre, has provided quality care for children between the ages of two and a half and five years old. Among the party guests were mayor of Okehampton Tony Leech and his wife, Sue, Okehampton Lions Club president Ian Snell and representatives from the Okehampton Educational Foundation. There were also parents, whose children had attended in the past. Staff manager and special needs co-ordinator Jane Heard, playleader Rachel Sharpe, play assistant Sue Hanson and administrator Frances Alexander, have 20 youngsters in the school, which is open on weekdays from 9am to 11.30pm. To commemorate the occasion children decorated special mugs to take home. Adminstrator Frances Alexander said: ?The party went really well and was good fun. We thank all those who came along to enjoy the event.?
