STARTED in 1991 Stannary Hash House Harriers (SH3) have just celebrated their 747th run. To mark this occasion a ?Jumbo? run was organised by the committee with inflatable elephants, commemorative vests and a supper of jumbo sausage and chips supplied by Randall?s Catering of Yelverton. The run itself took place on and around RAF Harrowbeer airfield with a lot of the junior members of the Hash acting as wing commanders and leading the Hash to the first checkpoints. Junior members were also supplied with small model aircraft and the (allegedly) adult Hashers held a raffle of the inflatable elephants with the final one being auctioned off, having first been signed by all of SH3. A good night was had by all with all monies raised going charity. Thanks to the Devon Tors, Yelverton for being great sports. Stannary Hash House Harriers meets every Monday night at 7:30 pm.
