DELIGHTED All Out Performing Arts students in Tavistock are once again celebrating outstanding examination results in drama and music.

Every student taking the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) graded examination in devised drama before Christmas passed with distinction.

Singing pupils of All Out's Julian Barnicoat achieved levels of success in the graded examinations with the London College of Music.

Julian said: 'I'm delighted to say that every pupil was awarded a mark in the 80s or 90s. I entered my highest number of candidates to date and we achieved our highest marks so I suppose this is something of a record. I'm always proud of my Tavistock pupils — now even more so.

'Singing and drama build not only skills in a specific discipline but skills in life. Maintaining a level of commitment and hard work teaches us so much about ourselves and gives us confidence in any situation. As a tutor it's a privilege to be part of that process. '
