WEST Devon Borough Council is looking for local community organisations across the borough to get involved with the Olympic flame celebrations next year.

The flame will travel through Okehampton, Folly Gate and Hatherleigh on the morning of Monday May 21 2012. Full details of the relay will be announced closer to the time, with people from across the area invited to welcome the Olympic flame.

The borough council is encouraging communities to hold events and dress their towns and villages with bunting, banners and flags.
