THERE is a treat in store for lovers of traditional country music and dancing this month, as the National Trust and Milton Combe Village Hall are holding a barn dance at the tithe barn, Buckland Abbey.

Fox Amongst The Chickens will be playing on the night, one of the best  ceilidh bands in the area with their brilliant caller, Rosie.

The barn dance is on Saturday September 26, from 8pm. Admission is £8 and tickets must be bought in advance from Buckland Abbey, Ross Mitchell on 01822 853364 or Val Stewart on 01822 854865.
