FROM the jaws of victory Bere snatched defeat. A one-sided first half saw them make and miss a hatful of chances.

The second half saw Bere pile forward and Sharrock head home.

St Mawes caught Bere on the break to equalise.

Bere besieged the St Mawes goal and another break saw a goalkeeping error gift them the lead.

Hann picked up a through-ball to equalise.

Last-ditch defending saved the home side and with 30 seconds remaining a long ball caught Bere out for St Mawes? winner.

BERE?s offside trap was sprung twice within ten minutes and a St Giles? long ball beat them once more to make it 3-0 at half time.

In the second half positional changes worked in Bere?s favour, pegging St Giles back. Yeoman ran from midfield to score.

Bere kept the pressure on and hit the woodwork twice, but two quick breaks made it 5-1 to St Giles.

Injury forced a substitution but Bere carried on attacking for Rushall to score.
