FIRE crews were called to a collision involving two cars outside the Dartmoor Diner on the A386 Tavistock Road on Monday.

The incident happened at 1.40pm, and two crews from Yelverton and Crownhill got to work with roof removal on one vehicle enabling one casualty to be released.

Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools.

The ambulance service and police remained on the scene.
