CONTRACTORS have been brought in by West Devon Borough Council to remove graffiti daubed by vandals on Tavistock's historic viaduct.
So-called graffiti tags appeared several weeks ago on one of the viaduct arches and on a wall on top of the structure.
The viaduct is owned by the borough council, and the clear up operation cost around £100 of council tax-payers' money.
Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and charge over the graffiti. Residents are asked to call 0800 555 111 if they can help.
