STUDENTS from Chelfam Senior school recently raised £300 for Ugandan Orphans. The money raised will be given to the One World Foundation Africa, which supports children affected by civil war and aids, through providing food, education and clothing. To raise the money, the students decided to grow a variety of plants which they sold at the school and in Tavistock Pannier Market. As well as raising money for the cause, those who took part gained new skills and a greater understanding of the troubles in Uganda.
