A FIRE crew from North Tawton were called to a road accident between North Tawton and Whiddon Down last Friday afternoon, involving two vehicles and a caravan. On arrival, the crews found a caravan being towed by a four-wheel drive vehicle had overturned on the A3124, after the vehicle had been in collision with another car. An LPG gas cylinder had been removed from the scene of the accident prior to the crews? arrival but the firefighters treated a male casualty at the scene with oxygen and made the vehicles safe using a hose reel jet.
