THE streets of Okehampton were transformed last Saturday, as the town staged its annual carnival.

The children's fancy dress parade took place in the afternoon and the main procession made its way through the town during the evening, with the carnival royalty also being crowned during the day by the mayor of Okehampton, Cllr Michael Morse.
