PREPARATIONS for the 2012 Hatherleigh Carnival are starting in earnest, with the carnival annual general meeting next week.

The meeting takes place on Wednesday March 14 at 7.30pm at Old Schools.

It will be the first chance for the committee to plan ahead for the event later this year.

The carnival committee is always keen to see new faces get involved who share their enthusiasm about keeping the historic carnival going.
