Devon Colts Shield final Okehampton Colts 9 Sidmouth Colts 9 THREE first half penalties from the boot of Carl Paynter earned Okehampton a share of the shield. The two sides had met only a few weeks before when a close encounter entered in a narrow 13-12 win for the Okes in the Merit table. Three times Okehampton went in front and three times Sidmouth pulled back. But Sidmouth had their own kicking machine in the form of Tom Wheelan, whose two penalties, either side of half time and a late second half drop goal ensured the shield was shared.
