SHEBBEAR College pupil Carl Stanbury has been selected for the Devon U11's cricket team.

After a very successful 2010 season playing for Shebbear College, Bideford Cricket Club (U 10s, U1's and U12s) and the North Devon U10s cricket team, Carl was selected for winter training at Exeter and his hard work and commitment has paid off with his selection for the final 11-player team. He has played in two x 40 over matches —both won convincingly away at Cornwall and Wales.

There are 17 matches in total, some as far as Windsor and Oxford, a week long festival in Somerset and to finish the season off with a special charity commemorative 20/20 friendly verses the Devon U12s side at Exeter School for Cancer Research UK.
