A NEW Devon-wide campaign to encourage carers to register with Devon Carers Link began this week.
The campaign, which will run until the end of the year, will feature adverts on radio, billboards, bus shelters and buses and postcards in GP surgeries, libraries and council receptions across the county. They will cover some of the common scenarios that carers experience and will target carers of all ages and situations.
By registering with Devon Carers Link carers have access to a range of support including a countywide Take A Break scheme, that makes it easier for carers to have short breaks from their caring role. Flexible Breaks grants are also available for carers to spend on having some proper time off.
