A CARAVAN overturned between Whiddon Down and Okehampton on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on the A30 half-a-mile north of Whiddon Down shortly after 2.30pm. The caravan was the only vehicle involved, and the road was soon reopened.
Firefighterrs from Okehampton attended the scene as a precaution as the caravan contained gas bottles. An ambulance and traffic officers also attended the scene of the accident.
