FIRE crews were mobilised to reports of a car on fire in Hatherleigh yesterday (July 16).

At 7.33pm fire crews discovered that a car was alight in a layby on the A3072 road, near Hatherleigh.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said that crews used one compressed air foam jet and small tools to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
