POLICE are investigating a suspicious fire after a car was destroyed in Horrabridge on Sunday night.

Sub-officer John German, of Yelverton fire brigade, said the Ford Scorpio had been parked near the Toll House for three weeks with a flat battery when it went up in flames just before midnight.

Yelverton fire crews also had to deal with a stolen car that was torched at Lopwell Dam last Thursday night.
