THE Tavonians Theatre Company will be presenting their new production, A Caper through Shakespeare, at Buckland Abbey next month.

The lively production created by The Tavonians, draws on stories, poetry and characters that have timeless appeal. It combines new writing with extracts from Shakespeare in a joyous ensemble play.

Performances are on Friday, June 15 to Sunday, June 17 at 7pm and will, weather permitting, be in the gardens of this historic house. If raining, it will be in the medieval Great Barn. Bring chairs or rugs and dress warmly, and bring a picnic.

This production has been selected to be part of the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages Project, marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. An extract from it will be shown at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on June 19.
