WHEN is something going to be done about the disgusting state of the canal in the Meadowlands park area?
For some weeks now the water level has been very low and it appears almost to be stagnant.
There is a great deal of rubbish and other unsightly debris in the water, and the poor ducks are walking on the bottom, hardly able to swim.
Several visitors to the town have asked me why the canal is so neglected and have remarked that is has spoiled their visit to Tavistock.
