THE area's top amateur sleuths will this Sunday (August 24) be heading for Okehampton's Simmons Park to solve a dastardly crime.
In a departure from the usual treasure hunt, aspiring detectives will be given a set of clues to follow and let loose for the afternoon to identify the killer.
If you fancy yourself as a Holmes or Poirot, bring your Watson or Hastings along to Okehampton Conservative Club at 2pm to collect your clues.
Entry will be £2.50 per person, which will include a cream tea at the end of the afternoon, and there will be a prize for the best detective. All profits will go the the Exeter Leukaemia Fund.
