POLICE are asking for help in tracing a vehicle which has been involved in a number of crimes in the Tavistock and Liskeard areas.

The occupant of the car-derived white Bedford van made off without paying for petrol at Safeway in Tavistock on June 8 and at Tavistock Service Station on June 13.

A similar offence had previously been committed at Liskeard.

The van, registration number F525 PHU, had been seen in Calstock, where it received a parking ticket.

The vehicle has writing on the side, on the back nearside door and in front of the roof. It also has roof bars and damage to the rear nearside corner.
