POLICE have been searching Burrator for a camper who has been missing for ten days.

Last night, police searched the area with heat-seeking equipment looking for Plymouth resident Joel Griffiths.

Joel reportedly went camping on Burrator ten days ago. His mum contacted the police when he didn’t return.

Anyone who has seen Joel in the Burrator or Sheepstor area are being urged to police on 101.

Friends of Joel wrote on Facebook that they were concerned for his safety and asked volunteers to help circulate his photo and spread the news of his disappearance.
