Collumpton U12s 14 Tavistock U12s 45 SCRUM half Philip Snell opened the scoring with a signature blind side run off a five metre scrum. Some uncharacteristic missed tackles let the home side through to draw equal. The next attack saw the forwards secure the ball close to the line and provided good ball for centre Elliot Hoyte to run in from close quarters. Fly half Jack Morgan?s quickly taken penalty made 40 metres the second phase ball was picked up by prop Joe Hair who off-loaded to fellow forward Daniel Oner to run in Tavistock?s third. From the restart Josh Stephens at full back caught and kicked the ball back well into the opposition?s territory to set up the attack which was finished by a Jack Morgan interception. The second half started with a bit of a points draught until Hoyte was driven over of his second. A series of mistakes allowed Collumpton back into it until Morgan fought his way over again after some good close in handling. Tavistock forward Callum Thompson rounded off the scoring with a quick pick up of a loose ball at the ruck and a clear 30 metre run in.
