St Day 20 Callington 3 AFTER the last league game against St Agnes which saw tries by winger Derek Ingleson, prop Ollie Tape and Richard Midgely, with a conversion from full-back Wayne Wormald giving them a 17-5 win, Callington were looking to repeat the performance. Although they played well throughout and little could be said to dent their passion and the desire to win, it was difficult from the start as St Day ran in two tries in the second half. It was a struggle for the visiting side to then catch up. Callington did retain control of a fair portion of scrums and line-outs in the second half. But two further tries by St Day put a possible victory out of their grasp. They were not to go away empty handed as they were able to get some points on the board through the boot of full-back Wayne Wormald.
