The league?s Summer League singles championship took place on the night, 48 players starting, and the quarter finals came out as follows: Hayley Gillett (Bull?s Head) beat Tania Bradford (Coryton Arms) 2-1; Linda Cole (Tav Hotel A) beat Pat Davies (Queen?s Head) 2-1. Sarah Stephens (Tav Hotel A) beat Jenny Mellows (White Hart) 2-1. Pat Jago (Tav Hotel A) beat Pam Southcott (Tav Hotel B) 2-0.
Semi finals: Hayley Gillett beat Linda Cole 2-0; Sarah Stephens beat Pat Jago 2-1.
Final: Hayley Gillett beat Sarah Stephens 2-0 to retain the championship she won in 2003.
