GREENFINGERED gardeners will be pleased to hear entry forms for the 158th Tavistock Flower and Craft Show are now available. This year for the first time the show is now part of the Lions Club?s Carnival Week. Lions Club member Vicky Holloway is busy sorting out a total of 58 different classes and finding judges and sponsors to help with the event. Forms can be obtained from Trecanna Nursery at Latchley, Little Court Nursery near Kingsbridge and from Tavistock Library. For those with a computer the form can be downloaded from the Tavistock Lions website at http://www.tavistocklions.org.uk">www.tavistocklions.org.uk The show will be staged in a large marquee as part of ?Fun Day in the Meadows? on Sunday, July 9 at 2pm. It will include other events such as the dog and pet shows, a table top sale, a hot air balloon demonstration and children?s rides. And it will see the crowning of Beth Standing, this year?s carnival princess, accompanied by attendants Rebecca Eldridge and Kayleigh Gatcum .
